WIRELESS FROM      
        KING EDWARD

Premier Laurier Sends Greetings
to British Newspapers

Special to The Morning Chronicle
    OTTAWA, Oct 18 — Among the wire-
less greetings sent from Canada are
messages from Sir Wilfred Laurier.
The following was sent to the Lon-
don Standard:—
    "Welcome new bond between Bri-
tain and Canada.  One more tri-
umph for Empire and science."
    Another message from the Premier
to the London Chronicle says:—
    "Greetings to the people of Great
Britain upon attainment between
British and Canadian coasts of
nature's latest greatest triumph over
distance."
    In reply to the message from Earl
Grey, King Edward sent the follow-
ing Marconigram:—
    "I thank you for your telegram.
I am delighted that the wireless
transatlantic telegraphy should unite
the bonds between the Mother Coun-
try so closely."
